Bauhaus Centenary Symposium and Exhibition

We were asked to participate in a symposium and exhibition hosted by UCA exploring the legacy of the Bauhaus on British Art Schools and on Art and Design generally. We talked about our ongoing collaboration with Aline Helmcke investigating various multi-medial and collaborative processes as a means of developing animation and subsidiary work. Aline joined us by live video link during the talk.

We also participated in an accompanying exhibition at the Herbert Read gallery showing a cut up poem made out of Walter Gropius’ Bauhaus Manifesto of 1919. This was accessed by visitors using our electric ‘reader’ machine.
